Ardoq partner announcement

Clariox Partners with Ardoq

We are proud to announce that Clariox is now an official Ardoq partner, the only Ardoq partner with a focused Business and Enterprise Architecture perspective in Denmark.

Why have we partnered with Ardoq?

It is not just about how many features the platform has, but about what you as an organisation can gain from using it: what insights actually reach the organization, and how they get used, from the moment the foundation is laid. All relevant stakeholders can get access to the platform and have information presented in a way that makes sense from their perspective, without having to read a complex diagram or wait for an architect to have time. That means decisions can be made closer to the people who know the business, instead of creating a bottleneck in a small specialist team.

The same goes for the AI. Instead of a general chatbot guessing from disconnected documents, Ardoq's AI is built to solve concrete architecture tasks, such as assessing which applications are critical, or pointing out where it makes most sense to clean up. Answers that used to take an experienced architect a couple of days to work out can now be delivered in seconds, and you can always see where the answer comes from. The AI does not take decisions on its own either: changes are proposed and must be approved by a person before they take effect in the picture the rest of the organization works from.

It is that combination of speed and control that makes us confident building our advisory on top of the platform, right from day one. The flexibility and advanced capabilities are why Ardoq is typically our platform of choice.

It always starts with the foundation

For most companies, it does not begin with a big strategic project. It begins with gaining control over the foundation: one shared, up-to-date picture of applications, capabilities, organization, and ownership, instead of scattered spreadsheets and documents that are outdated as soon as they are made.

It may not be the most exciting place to start, but it is the prerequisite for everything that follows. And it does not have to be a heavy process. Instead of chasing down every single application owner manually, data can be collected automatically through targeted questions and reminders sent directly to the people who know the systems best. That means the foundation is in place faster, and stays up to date, instead of being a one-off exercise that slowly goes stale.

From there, the strategic use cases open up

Once the foundation is in place, the picture changes. Tasks such as compliance reporting, which used to take a fair amount of manual work to pull together, can be drawn directly from a system that is already up to date. Large transformation and modernization projects can be tracked and simulated continuously, instead of being captured in a static snapshot every now and then.

Control and insight are only half the value

This is where we set ourselves apart. A better overview and a more reliable platform are valuable in their own right, but the real value only appears once control and insight are combined with commercial advisory: what do the numbers mean for the business, where should investments be prioritized, and what decisions does the new insight support.

It is not just about better decisions internally. With a full overview of what is actually being used, and what it costs, a company also stands in a markedly stronger position toward its software vendors. Negotiations become easier to approach with data in hand. Even expensive legacy agreements that a company may long ago have given up on can suddenly reveal a way out.

💡 You cannot negotiate a better deal on a vendor landscape you cannot see. The overview is the prerequisite, not a side benefit.

That is not a claim we take lightly. We have seen the same challenge from several angles over the years. We have advised companies on license and cloud purchasing, sat inside a large Danish company having to negotiate and keep vendor bills down ourselves, and worked directly with the platform many organizations today use to try to build the overview they are missing. That experience is part of what we bring into every client engagement. It is the combination of platform, control, insight, and commercial understanding that the partnership between Clariox and Ardoq is built around.

Try it without investing first

Investing in a new platform is a big decision. That is why we offer a time-limited proof-of-concept on Ardoq, where companies can try the platform on their own use cases without committing to a full investment first.
